Ohio Rep. Butler studies Medicaid, senior issues at Bethany Village

Ohio Representative Jim Butler, R-Oakwood, visited Bethany Village on Aug. 15 to discuss issues facing retirement communities, including Medicaid funding for nursing home care, assisted living and home care affected by state legislature actions.

Judy Budi, Vice-President, Residential Care, took Rep. Butler on an informational tour of the assisted living, long-term nursing care, memory-supported care and Bethany Rehabilitation Center areas. In several areas, he met employees who described how we deliver the experience of Faithful Caring.

He learned of the size and scope of Bethany Village as it impacts the surrounding community and economy with more than 500 employees and nearly 800 residents. He was also able to visit homes in Bethany’s residential living areas.
