New residence serves adults with developmental disabilities

Leanne, Home Manager, with Kurt, first resident

Graceworks Enhanced Living began providing services for adults with developmental disabilities in a new residence in Greene County in June. We now provide services in 29 residences in Butler, Greene, Hamilton and Montgomery Counties.

The first resident is a man who moved to Greene County to be closer to family members who are involved with his life. Plans call for two additional residents.

Manager Leanne Anstaett (at left, in photo) and a team of direct caregivers provide services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

“We work hard to apply the principles of Gentle Teaching, so each resident will feel safe and loved,” says Deb Lyle, Graceworks Enhanced Living Administrator.

Graceworks Enhanced Living now provides services for more than 150 adults with developmental disabilities in 29 small group homes in Butler, Greene, Hamilton and Montgomery Counties and for 30 persons with developmental disabilities in a recreational day habilitation program in Hamilton County.
