The Companion Program connects volunteers aged 55 and older with those who need assistance to maintain independence in their own homes. These volunteers provide friendship and aid to frail elderly persons living alone. Their services are provided free of charge.
The Senior Companion Program is funded in part by grants from the Ohio Department of Aging and the Corporation for National and Community Service. Companions receive tax-free stipends, transportation reimbursement and other tangible benefits for providing volunteer services. For information about becoming a Senior Companion, or to inquire about having a Senior Companion, contact us at (937) 534-7937 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
