Bethany Village unveils new therapy spaces on June 27

Bethany Village has more than doubled its Therapy Services space to meet current and future demand. Guests toured the new spaces during a June 27 open house in the retirement community in Centerville, Ohio. Click on the slide show below for photos (then “show info” for detailed captions).

The expansion involved expanding a physical therapy space and remodeling another space for occupational therapy. Bethany will be able to serve more individuals in an improved environment with more space – 5,300 square feet – and updated equipment.

Bethany Village Therapy staff members provide physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy services in the retirement community’s newly expanded and updated facility in Centerville.

Bethany has a Therapy staff of 25 individuals dedicated to faithfully caring for persons recovering from surgery or hospitalization, in connection with the Bethany Rehabilitation Center. The Bethany Rehabilitation Center provides short-term, residential rehabilitative nursing and therapy services.

Demand for therapy services has grown steadily in the past 10 years. The Bethany Rehabilitation Center provided therapy services for 735 people in 2012, up from 600 in 2003.

Bethany Village is a nationally accredited continuing care retirement community in Centerville, Ohio. Currently 764 residents live in a variety of residences. Approximately 450 enjoy an active lifestyle with life enriching programs as they live in villas, cottages and apartments, while another 62 live with some assistance, and 252 live with longterm skilled nursing care or memory-supportive care.

Bethany Village is owned and operated by Graceworks Lutheran Services, a Centerville-based nonprofit organization providing residential and community services to individuals who are older or have disabilities or financial challenges.
