A special thank you to our volunteers

Throughout the months of April and May, Graceworks will recognize over 800 volunteers who provided 90,008 hours of recorded service in 2015 with an estimated fair market value of $1,926,155.

“This year’s volunteer recognition theme of “Volunteers – Giving Time, Touching Hearts” describes your unselfish devotion and commitment to help individuals find stability in the midst of challenging or changing circumstances,” wrote Bill Serr, President and CEO, in a letter to volunteers. “Volunteers have always played an important role throughout the rich history of our organization. From responding to Ohio River Valley floods in the 1930s, to helping people with a multitude of needs today, volunteers positively impact the people we serve.”

Ann Warner, Manager, Volunteer Services, said “the diversity of our volunteers and the service they provide is a blessing to our clients, residents and staff. Not only do volunteers support and inspire others, but motivate others to serve as well. ”
